Aunt Mary'S 15 Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. 15 bean soup
    1/2 lb. raw bacon, cut up
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 chopped red or green pepper
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 clove garlic, minced
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash thoroughly.
    Place beans in a pan. Cover with water and 2 tablespoons salt. Soak overnight.
    Drain. Add 2 quarts of water. Put in crock-pot.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cook on low for 13 to 15 hours or until beans are tender.
