Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
3/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
3 slices bacon
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from fat and drain. Leave about 1 tablespoon of drippings in frying pan. Pour rest away. Allow pan to cool. In a bowl, beat egg. Add flour and sugar. Stir until smooth. Add salt, vinegar and water. Pour into pan with drippings. Cook slowly, stirring until thick and bubbly. Crumble bacon over lettuce or dandelion leaves and pour hot dressing over the top.
