Appetizer Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. French's ground beef seasoning with onions
    1/4 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. water
    1 beaten egg
    1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce (Del Monte)
    1/2 c. grape jelly
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix the first 5 ingredients well.
    Let stand 10 minutes. Shape into small balls.
    Heat next 4 ingredients together over low heat until jelly is melted, blending well.
    Place meat balls in sauce.
    Cook over low heat.
    Turn each meat ball over.
    Cover; simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Uncover; simmer for 10 minutes or until meat balls are done and sauce is thick.
    May be made in advance and reheated slowly before serving.
    Will keep for 2 to 3 days in refrigerator or frozen will keep 1 month.
    Can freeze meat balls and make sauce and cook and serve as needed.
