Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 layer) cake mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 can crushed pineapple, large
    1 large container whipped topping
Preparation
    Bake and cool cake as directed on package.
    Using about 1/3 of cake, tear into pieces in punch bowl.
    Top with 1 can of pie cherries, then 1/3 whipped topping.
    Repeat with 1/3 of cake and 1 can of drained pineapple and 1/3 of whipped topping.
    Repeat again with 1/3 of cake and 1 can of cherry pie filling. Finish off with whipped topping.
    Refrigerate.
