Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked chicken
2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. water
2/3 c. long grain rice
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds (topping)
Preparation

Cook rice in chicken broth according to package directions. In another saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in flour and salt.
Add evaporated milk.
Cook and stir until thickens.
Stir in rice, chicken, broccoli and mushrooms.
Put in a 2-quart casserole dish; bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Serves 15.
