Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 cloves garlic
    1 medium onion
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 lb. sausage
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    12 oz. fresh mushrooms
    2 cans kidney beans
    2 qt. tomato juice
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Put oil in large soup pot over medium-low heat.
    Add chopped onion and garlic and cook until translucent.
    Add ground chuck and sausage; brown very well and drain off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Do not drain off kidney beans or stewed tomatoes and chop mushrooms before adding.
    Cook over low heat, covered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
