Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 sliced peeled apples
    2 sticks melted butter
    1 loaf bread
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick butter in casserole dish.
    Peel and slice apples and place in buttered dish.
    Cut bread into slices and cover apples.
    Mix the sugar, egg, 1 stick of melted butter and vanilla; pour over apples.
    Sprinkle cinnamon over top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
