Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. corn meal
1 c. flour (all-purpose)
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 (16 oz.) creamed corn
10 minced jalapeno peppers
2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 c. finely chopped onions
Preparation

In a bowl, sift meal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
In a separate bowl, beat 3 eggs lightly and stir in milk and oil.
Add this liquid mixture to dry mixture and then combine all remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Pour batter into two well-greased 9 x 11-inch baking pans.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
