Mince Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box raisins
    1/2 cup vinegar
    1/2 cup molasses
    1/2 cup syrup (Karo)
    1 cup bread crumbs
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 stick oleo
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    allspice to taste
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 pint scupperong preserves (add if possible but not necessary)
Preparation
    Add all the ingredients at once and cook over slow heat until raisins become plump.
    Do not add bread crumbs until almost time to remove from heat as it is bad to stick.
    This should make two or three pies.
