Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 boxes vanilla pudding
    2 (12 oz.) boxes Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake, let cool, cut into three parts and then cut into small pieces.
    Add one layer of cake, then pineapple, Cool Whip, another layer of cake, cherry pie filling, pudding, another layer of cake and then Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
