Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage or 2 medium
    2 medium onions or 2 large (according to your liking)
    1 lb. bacon (lean)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut cabbage in quarters.
    Remove core; shred.
    In heavy skillet or Dutch oven, slice pre-frozen bacon into cubes.
    Place in cold skillet and fry uncovered until transparent.
    Put some of the sliced onion on top of bacon, then add some of the shredded cabbage; toss after approximately 5 minutes.
