Creamy Sausage Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 to 10 medium potatoes, cut in 1-inch cubes
2 large onions, cut in 1-inch cubes
2 green or red bell peppers, cut in 1-inch cubes
1 lb. Polish sausage or use turkey sausage for a low-fat meal, cut in 1/2-inch rounds
1/4 c. oil
1 Tbsp. basil
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. garlic
1/2 c. French onion chip dip (can use fat-free)
1 1/2 c. milk (skim if desired)
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Place vegetables and sausage in ovenproof pot.
Mix oil and spices.
Pour onto vegetable mix and toss to coat.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Add chip dip to milk and mix until smooth.
Add to pot and stir.
Cover and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Mix water and cornstarch and add to pot.
Put on stove top and boil until thickened, stirring constantly.
