Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    2 qt. water
    1 onion, chopped
    16 oz. can tomatoes
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    10 oz. pkg. frozen okra
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. tarragon
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Cut meat
    into\tsmall cubes, roll in flour and brown in margarine
    in
    uncovered
    14-inch Dutch oven.
    Add salt, water and onion.
    Cover
    and\tcook
    for
    1 hour.
    Add tomatoes, bell pepper, okra, thyme, tarragon and bay leaf.
    Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Replenish coals as needed.
