Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients in order, cutting in the shortening as you do for biscuits or pie crust dough. Stir in buttermilk, also the water and yeast mixture. Blend thoroughly. The dough is ready to be refrigerated in large bowl or made into biscuits.
