Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie shell
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan pieces
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry. Combine the eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup and vanilla in a bowl and blend well.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour into pastry.
    Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for another 35 minutes.
    Serve with cream.
