Chicken A La Chardon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 whole chicken breasts
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. Italian bread crumbs
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 tsp. parsley
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
Preparation
    Bone chicken breasts.
    Beat egg with 1 teaspoon garlic powder and salt and pepper.
    Mix bread crumbs with Parmesan cheese and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
    Dip chicken in egg, then roll in bread crumbs, then put in large shallow pan.
    Melt butter with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and parsley.
    Pour half butter sauce over chicken.
    Cook 25 to 30 minutes.
    Slice mushrooms; put over chicken with remaining butter.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes longer (375\u00b0).
    Serves 6.
