Apple Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 apples, peeled and sliced
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
    pastry
Preparation
    Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
    Place apple slices in bottom.
    Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients, reserving a few pecan pieces, and mix well.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour or until set.
    Top pie with remaining pecan pieces.
