Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium stalks celery, sliced
    1 medium carrot, coarsely shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice
    1 c. water
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
    1 c. half and half
    1/3 c. slivered almonds
    1/4 c. parsley
Preparation
    Cook and stir celery, carrot, onion and green pepper in margarine in large saucepan until celery is tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat just until hot.
    Do not boil.
