Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 c. boiling hot milk
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Beat eggs until very light.
Beat in sugar, salt and vanilla. Melt margarine in hot milk and beat into mixture.
Sift together flour and baking powder and beat into mixture very quickly.
Pour immediately into prepared 9 x 13-inch sheet pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0, or until top springs back when lightly touched or comes away from sides of pan.
Cool.
Serve in squares topped with sliced strawberries.
