Ingredients

6 to 8 medium carrots
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar (light)
1/4 c. cold water
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation

Cut carrots in 1/2-inch slices.
Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole with margarine and brown sugar.
Cover and cook in microwave oven 10 minutes.
(Stir after 5 minutes.)
