Vidalia Onion Deep Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/8 c. regular rice
    1/2 c. butter
    3 1/3 lb. Vidalia onions, chopped
    1 1/8 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1 c. whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 Tbsp. paprika
Preparation
    Cook rice in a large pot of boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain well.
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add onions; cook, stirring, until tender.
    Mix cheese and cream.
    Add rice, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Place in a greased buttered casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake one hour at 325\u00b0.
