Individual Pineapple Meat Loaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    8 oz. crushed pineapple (juice packed), drained
    2 Tbsp. bottled sweet and sour sauce or barbecue sauce (optional)
    1/2 c. quick cooked rolled oats
    1/4 c. green pepper, finely chopped
    1 lb. lean ground beef
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, stir together egg, oats, onion, green pepper and salt.
    Add beef and pineapple; mix well.
    Divide mixture into 6 equal portions.
    Shape each portion into a 4 x 2-inch loaf.
    Place loaves in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink.
    Top each loaf with 1 teaspoon of the sweet and sour or barbecue sauce, if desired.
    Serves 6.
