Candied Acorn Squash Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small Acorn squash
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar plus 1 tsp.
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. diet margarine plus 1 tsp.
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Trim off ends of each squash.
    Cut each squash crosswise into 4 rings (each almost 3/4-inch wide). Discard seeds and membrane from slices.
    On nonstick pan, arrange rings in a single layer and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cover with foil and bake until slightly tender, approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
