Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 to 10 medium potatoes
2 onions, diced
5 slices bacon
1 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cook the potatoes; peel and dice.
Combine with onion, salt, pepper and crumbled bacon.
In the bacon grease, add water, vinegar and sugar and boil.
Combine the flour with 1 tablespoon of water.
Pour into sauce.
Mix well.
Pour over potatoes and onions and serve hot.
For color, add chopped pimentos and green pepper to the onion, potatoes and bacon.
