Fried Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. okra
1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
cooking oil (enough to cover bottom of pan)
Preparation

Cut okra into 1-inch pieces; season to taste.
In small bowl, beat egg and add milk.
Dip okra in mixture and roll in corn meal. Fry in deep fat until crisp and brown.
Drain on paper towels.
