Carolina Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
3 1/4 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour alternately with milk.
Finish adding ingredients and mix well. Beat a few seconds, using high speed mixer, then lower speed and beat several minutes.
Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
