Carol'S Cheesecake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 graham cracker crust
1 can blueberry or cherry pie filling
4 egg whites
1 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
2 c. whipping cream
fresh fruit
1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
Preparation

Whip egg whites until they form peaks.
Gradually add sugar, vanilla and vinegar.
Continue beating until very stiff.
Spread on waxed paper or brown paper on a cookie sheet in a circle, slightly smaller than desired size.
Bake one hour at 275\u00b0.
Turn off oven and leave meringue several hours to dry.
Top with whipped cream, fresh fruit and toasted almonds (kiwi fruit and strawberries are perfect).
