Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 oz. red coloring
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
    Mix cocoa and coloring in a cup, then add to first mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add with buttermilk.
    Fold in soda and vinegar.
    Pour into pans.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
