Overnight Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    5 to 6 pieces celery, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked, drained and cooled
    6 to 8 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    3 to 4 carrots, chopped fine
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and chopped fine
    1 pkg. Cheddar or Kojack cheese
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a large bowl layer ingredients.
    Spread the mayonnaise over top.
    Sprinkle sugar on the very top.
    Refrigerate overnight. Toss just before serving.
