Nutty Buddy Dessert Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 small pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick margarine, melted
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 small carton Cool Whip

Preparation

Crush Oreos. Add melted margarine to crushed cookies.
Mix slightly to moisten.
Press into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Cut ice cream into slices and place on top of cookie mixture.
Top with Cool Whip.
Drizzle chocolate syrup onto Cool Whip.
Swirl with knife.
Top with crushed pecans or roasted peanuts.
Freeze. When ready to serve, cut into bars and enjoy.
