Rich Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. syrup
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine syrup, margarine and sugar in saucepan.
Bring to a boil gently for 5 minutes.
Cool slightly. Mix the eggs, vanilla and salt.
Gradually stir in cool syrup mixture.
Pour over chocolate chips in pie plate crust.
Arrange pecan halves on top of pie.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes until knife comes clean.
Cool.
