Crock-Pot Roast With Cranberry Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (about 5 lb.) brisket
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 onions, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Brown brisket in hot oil on all sides.
    Remove to crock-pot. Brown onions in the meat pan to get flavor.
    Add more oil, if needed, and scrape up flavorings.
    Pour onions over roast in crock-pot.
    Add tomato sauce to meat pan to get loose all the flavorings.
    Mix in cranberry sauce, also.
    Dump liquid over roast and onions.
    Simmer 3 to 6 hours in crock-pot on low or until meat is tender.
    Can be cooled and refrigerated up to 2 days.
    Reheat, covered, over medium-low heat, about 30 minutes.
    Serve meat sliced with gravy to pass.
