Waffles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 large eggs
    2 1/4 c. milk
    2/3 c. melted butter, oleo, shortening or oil
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Beat eggs in small mixing bowl for 1 minute.
    Add milk and then dry ingredients.
    Beat until blended, scraping bowl.
    Blend in shortening.
    Bake in preheated waffle baker.
    Makes 4 full size 4 section waffles or 8 smaller ones.
