Ingredients

12 c. 2% milk
2/3 c. sugar substitute
4 1/2 tsp. flour
2 Tbsp. vanilla
4 eggs
Preparation

Slightly beat eggs.
Blend in sugar and flour.
Heat milk.
Do not boil.
Add small amount of warm milk to sugar mixture, enough to make the mixture thin.
Then pour the mixture back into the heated milk.
Heat to a scald, stirring constantly, on medium heat for about 35 minutes.
Let cool at room temperature.
Add vanilla while cooling.
Freeze in 4-quart freezer.
