Cucumber Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 large cukes
4 large onions
2 green peppers
2 hot peppers (optional)
2 large ribs celery
3 c. sugar
3 c. cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Do not peel cukes.
If seeds are large, take them out.
Leave the small ones in.
Put vegetables through a food chopper. Sprinkle a handful of canning salt over these and let stand overnight.
In morning, drain and add sugar, vinegar, turmeric, celery seed and mustard seed.
Boil 30 minutes.
