Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. vanilla
    7 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 bottles red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco until fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    Add eggs 1 at
    a
    time,
    beating well after each.
    Sift flour and salt and add
    alternately
    with
    milk.
    Beat well and add red food coloring.
    Bake
    in large tube pan that has been buttered and floured
    at
    325\u00b0
    for
    45\tminutes to 1 hour.
    Check with toothpick.\tIf it comes out clean, cake is done.
