12-Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. torn salad greens
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 medium green peppers, chopped
    1 medium red onion, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preparation
    Place salad greens in bottom of a 3-quart bowl or 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Top with layers of celery, green peppers, onion and peas; do not toss.
