Mountain Bean Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. bean soup mix
    2 qt. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 meaty bone
    1 or 2 cans tomatoes
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Rinse beans and soak in cold water overnight. Drain. Add 2 quarts water, salt and meat bone. Simmer 3 hours and remove bone. Leave meat in pot.
    Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
