Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. wild rice, washed and drained
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 small pkg. slivered almonds
    1 can mushroom pieces, drained
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 c. diced green onions or scallions
    3 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Add rice to melted butter and brown 15 minutes. Add other ingredients and cook 5 minutes. Put all in casserole. Add chicken stock.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Stir gently before serving.
    Top with more almonds, if desired.
