Mexican Cornbread(For Barbecue) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3 beaten eggs
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 to 3 jalapeno peppers
    1 small can cream-style corn
    2 large onions, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 green bell pepper
    1 small jar pimento
Preparation
    Combine milk and eggs; add meal, salt, peppers, corn, onion, garlic and soda.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into greased, hot cast-iron skillet.
    Add some cheese.
    Add remaining batter.
    Top with cheese.
    Garnish with green pepper and pimento.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
