Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. butter, let soften 1/2 to 1 hour
Preparation

In a large bowl by hand, mix dry ingredients into butter until thoroughly mixed.
Knead a wee bit.
Flatten dough by hand (do not use rolling pin) to 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with cookie cutter.
