Iowa Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon, diced
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 (16 oz. each) cans cream-style corn
Preparation
    Fry bacon until slightly crisp.
    Set aside. Pour 1/8 to 1/4 cup bacon drippings over bread crumbs. Set aside.
    In 2 tablespoons bacon drippings, saute onion and green pepper until tender. Stir in corn and bacon.
    Put into a 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
