Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. mashed bananas
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening well.
    Add eggs, salt, vanilla and milk.
    Sift flour and soda together and blend into creamed mixture.
    Fold in bananas and nuts.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 35 to 40 minutes.
