Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    3/4 c. water
    pecans
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, Karo and water; stir over medium heat until sugar melts.
    When it starts to boil, cover for 3 minutes.
    Remove lid and cook to hard ball.
    Pour over whites (beaten stiffly), salt and vanilla in mixer.
    Beat by hand until ready to drop.
