Mexican Layered Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (8 oz.) carton French onion chip dip
    1/2 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 envelope taco seasoning
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
    2 c. shredded lettuce
    2 chopped tomatoes
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 can sliced black olives (optional)
Preparation
    Combine cream cheese, chip dip and dressing mix with beater until smooth.
    Layer on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, dish or Tupperware.
    Brown ground meat with onion.
    Drain and cool slightly.
    Layer on top of cream cheese mixture.
    Next, layer cheese, then lettuce, then tomatoes, pepper and olives. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
