K Cereal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. K cereal (Special K)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    small pkg. chocolate chips
    small pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
    Add cereal.
    Bring sugar and syrup to a light boil.
    Stir in peanut butter.
    Pour over cereal.
    Mix well and pat down.
    Melt small package of chocolate morsels and a small package of butterscotch morsels.
    Spread over cereal mixture and let cool.
    Cut in squares.
