Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. pecans or coconut
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan; stir in brown sugar.
    Cool slightly. Beat in eggs and vanilla; add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add pecans or coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until it falls.
    Cool before cutting.
