Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy.
Add sugar and shortening.
Mix well.
Add milk alternately with flour to egg mixture.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in hot waffle iron.
Makes 6 servings.
(Makes great pancakes too!)
