Company Clam Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) can minced clams
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 c. diced sharp American cheese
    2 Tbsp. chopped pitted ripe olives
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    few drops bottled hot pepper sauce
Preparation
    Drain clams, reserving 1 tablespoon of liquid.
    Cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
    Add clams, reserved clam liquid and remaining ingredients.
    Heat until cheese melts and mixture is hot.
    Serve with crackers and chips.
