Wild Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked wild rice
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 (8 oz.) jar mushrooms, drained
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
    3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Rinse and drain wild rice.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add rice, almonds, mushrooms and green onions.
    Saute for 20 minutes or until almonds are brown.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bring chicken broth to a boil in skillet.
    Pour over rice mixture; mix well.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until all liquid is absorbed.
    Yield: 8 servings.
